The Band
“Their music makes young people feel seen”
Brockhampton is made up of 15 men — rappers, producers, singers, photographers, and designers — who all work as collaborators. The band pushes the limits of what it means to be a music act, appearing more as a creative collective than a hip-hop group. They put out three albums in 2017: Saturation I, II, and III and put out another album, Iridescence, in 2018. Their music varies from ballads to rap to hip-hop, but the beauty of their collaboration is not in their specificity to a genre, but their ability to use a multitude of backgrounds to create their music.
