Formation

As a high school freshman, Kevin Abstract posted on a Kanye West fan forum asking if anyone wanted to form a band. After receiving 60 responses, he and a few others (all who would eventually become part of Brockhampton) started a group called AliveSinceForever over the internet. They exchanged beats and lyrics, and eventually, after more collaboration, changed their name to BROCKHAMPTON. After their first mixtape "All American Trash" was released in 2016, the band started a following. The "Saturation" trilogy in 2017 skyrocketed them to fame within "hesh" teenage culture.
